Sound familiar?

Coaching runs on memory.Memory forgets.

No more:
  • “I think you used forty last time.”
  • Retyping a program you already wrote by hand
  • Screenshots of the workout in a group text
  • Percentage math at the rack, four times over
  • “What’s next?” between every set
  • An online client, alone, with an exercise name and nothing else
  • Numbers on a clipboard nobody can find

Coaches forget details. WhiteBoard remembers them.

Coaches have lives. Details slip: last week’s weight, the knee that was off, the client who quietly stopped logging. WhiteBoard keeps them in one place and puts them in front of you when it matters, so you can coach the person in front of you.

One simple system

Your program. Every phone. Every set.

…and the record is where the next plan starts.

You write it. They train it. Every set comes back to you, and you write the next one from there. Four parts, one loop, nothing to copy between them.

In person, online, or both: the same system.

Built for

Strength coaches, trainers, and every coach in between.

Strength & conditioning

Twelve athletes. One program. Twelve maxes.

Write 75% × 5 once. Each athlete sees their own pounds on their phone and at the rack. Progressions by the week, a plane of motion on every built-in exercise, and every set logged where it’s lifted.

“What did we do last time?”

Last time and their best under every exercise, a check-in before the first session, and a private thread beside the program. You walk in knowing.

Semi-private & small group

Four people. Four programs. One coach.

Up to four clients side by side on one TV, each under their own name, with tap-to-log for all four on the rack tablet. On every plan.

Online & hybrid

The days you’re not there.

The same program on their phone, with your cues, and your clip or a linked video on any exercise. Write their whole week, only the days on their own, or only the days with you. Every set they log comes back to you.

Sport & youth

Gyms with several coaches

Five coaches on Studio, unlimited on Gym. Each coach runs their own wall at the same time. The owner keeps billing and settings, and every client’s history stays with the gym.

Logged in the right unit: reps, seconds, minutes, calories, rounds, yards, meters, miles or hits.

467 moves, cues included.

Every built-in move has a coaching cue, a kit tag and a plane of motion. Your gym’s own moves sit right beside them.

Type it like the whiteboard.

SL RDL, BSS, KB, TGU: search knows gym shorthand and finds the lift.

A swap for 328 movements.

A rung easier, a rung harder, or one with no kit, one tap away for you and your client.

Planes of motion, counted.

See a session’s balance across the planes, and spot the session with nothing side to side.

Programs, not just sessions.

Build phases of days, or start from a ready-made program and make it yours. Give it to one client or the whole roster, with a start date and their training days.

Plan the month in one go.

Type one percentage per week and the progression fills in every week. Copy a session onto up to 250 days. Add a mobility day without wiping the lifting.

Clients turn notifications on themselves. On some phones, that means adding WhiteBoard to the home screen first.

04 · Record

It remembers last time.

Under the back squat

Last 185×8 · Oct 7 · Best 225

Under every exercise: what that athlete lifted last time and their best — on their phone, when you log results for them, and at the rack or on the TV when they have the whole screen.

Every set, swap, flag and note comes back to you. Nobody does homework after the session.

The record

Every set, in full.

Each set’s weight and reps, kept in full for two years. After that, each movement keeps its best, its usual reps and its last three sessions.

How it felt.

Six one-tap flags on any exercise (Pain, Too hard, Form broke down and more), and an Easy-to-Brutal rating when the session ends.

Results two ways.

By session (what did they do Tuesday?) or by exercise (how is their deadlift moving?), over 90 days, 12 months or all time, with personal bests.

Check-ins you can program from.

Goal, injuries, training days, kit at home and current lifts, in about three minutes, open beside you when you write their program. There’s a paper copy to print for the front desk too.

And it notices what you’d miss.

Who needs you.

Your client list shows who logged, who hasn’t, who never opened it, and whose birthday is this week.

Birthdays, remembered.

Age updates itself, and you get a morning push on the day once you turn notifications on.

Replies already started.

Open a thread and suggested replies come from what they told the app: Tuesday’s Pain flag, Thursday’s swap. No AI, no credits, and nothing sends until you press Send.

The tools · Your call

You program.It does the typing.

The programming decisions stay yours. The AI tools inside WhiteBoard take the slow parts: retyping a sheet, a blank page, forty cues, cutting clips.

A coach’s handwritten program page, Group A, with its exercises and ‘3-4 sets x 6-8 reps’.
A handwritten page
The same Group A in WhiteBoard’s editor, before it is saved: its rest note, then Barbell Hip Thrust and Dumbbell Bench Press, each with the target from the page.
The session it came back as, before Save · Real app screen

Reads your sheet.

Photograph a handwritten page, a whiteboard or a screenshot. It comes back as a session you can edit, with your headings, your groups, your order and your targets (“6–8 reps”, “AMAP”, “30 sec”). It reads your saved sessions to match the shorthand you use.

Drafts what you describe.

Describe what a client needs, the way you’d tell another coach, or ask for the session that comes after one you’ve saved. It works from your own saved sessions, and from the ready-made programs where yours don’t cover it: one session, or a program up to 12 weeks.

Reads the check-in.

Point it at one client. It reads their check-in, their recent training and their maxes, and drafts for their whole week, only their days on their own, or only their days with you.

Writes the cues.

One tap puts a short cue on every exercise that doesn’t have one. It never touches a cue you wrote.

Cuts your clips.

Upload up to eight phone videos at once. It names each movement, writes a cue and cuts a demo loop of up to five seconds onto the right exercise. Sets, reps and loads stay yours to write.

Nothing goes out until you save it.

A drafted session opens in the same editor you write in: change anything, delete anything. A drafted program opens on a review screen to read day by day before you save it. Nothing reaches a client, your library or a board until you save it.

The foot of a drafted session: it goes on Marcus’s calendar and into the library only when the coach presses Save for Marcus.
Before Save · Real app screen · Demo client

It never:

  • Posts to a board on its own
  • Messages a client
  • Saves itself

It’s built not to diagnose. Health calls stay yours.

Something off in a draft? Report it from the review screen.

Runs on the AI credits in every plan: a photo scan or a set of cues is 1, a drafted session 2, a program or a batch of clips 5.

Your gym, your data

Private by default.Built to grow.

Private

Each client’s own phone is theirs alone.

Signed in on their phone, a client sees their own program, results, check-in and photos, never anyone else’s. That’s enforced in the database, not just hidden on screen.

A PIN on the shared tablet.

Turn on a 4 to 8 digit PIN in Settings and the rack tablet keeps messages, profiles and results locked. The board stays usable.

Photos for their coaches only.

Progress photos are visible only to the client and their gym’s coaches, and behind the PIN on a shared tablet when it’s on.

A paired TV only shows the board.

It’s read-only, and it shows its own gym’s board and nothing else.

Grows with you

An owner and a team.

Five coaches on Studio, unlimited on Gym. The owner keeps billing and settings. Assign clients to coaches, and any coach can cover.

Archive, don’t lose.

Archive a client and they stop counting toward your plan. Restore them and their whole history is there.

Coaches who train.

Put your own training in the same app, without using a client account.

Your color on the board.

Pick your gym’s accent color and see it on a preview of the board before you save it.

Questions coaches ask

Straight answers.

Does the AI write my programming?
Only when you ask, and only as a draft you edit and save. The AI tools take the typing off you: reading your handwritten sheet, drafting from your saved sessions or a client’s check-in, writing cues, cutting clips. Nothing reaches a client or a board until you save it.
Do I need a TV?
No. The phone side is the whole product for a trainer with no wall. A TV or a rack tablet is what you add when you want the board in the room.
The TV holds four. What about everyone else?
The four is only the TV, and two TVs make a wall of eight. Every client on your plan has their own session on their own phone at no extra cost, in your gym or anywhere else. The wall shows whoever is at the rack right now.
I coach a team of 25 on one program. What goes on the TV?
Give the program to the whole roster in one tap and it’s on every athlete’s phone, each with their own weights. For the room, post it as the Workout of the Day: it runs full screen on a TV, with demo clips.
My clients won’t log anything.
Then tap it in for them on the rack tablet between sets, or log it from their profile, where it’s marked “by coach”. Nothing depends on them doing homework.
I’ve got years of programs on paper. Can I bring them?
Snap them. A photo of a page, a whiteboard or a screenshot comes back as a session you can edit and save. There’s no import from other apps or spreadsheet files, so a photo is the way in. Or start from one of the 16 ready-made programs.
I coach online. Does it work for that?
Yes. Online clients get the same session on their phone: your cue, your clip or a linked video, their own weights and last time’s numbers. Every set they log comes back to you.
Will it work on our TV?
If the TV has a web browser, or a streaming stick plugged into it, open coachwhiteboard.com/tv on it and pair it from your phone with a six-character code. Nothing to install on the TV.
How do my clients get in?
Add them with an emailed sign-in, or share your gym’s 6-character code so they can sign up themselves. No download needed: they can add WhiteBoard to their home screen and it opens like an app.
What happens if I stop paying?
Your programs, boards and history stay readable for 30 days after a paid plan ends, and you get an email 7 days before anything is deleted.
